50 years after the 1972 Summer Games, we started offering e-bike tours through the Munich Olympic Park with our partner MucTours. Since then, those interested can stroll on two wheels through half a century of contemporary history and in the footsteps of legendary music greats. But MucTours also offers tours on foot, where you can learn a lot of interesting facts about history, sports, architecture and music and experience first-hand why the Olympic Park has lost none of its appeal over all these years.

How did the 1972 Summer Games come to Munich? How was the world-famous tent roof created? What have famous rock and pop stars experienced here? All these questions will be answered by MucTours' expert guides (including Herbert Hauke, the longtime director of the Rock Museum in the Olympic Tower) on the combined e-bike tour through the Olympic Park and Schwabing as well as on the walking tour through the impressive grounds. The famous sports venues, the Walk of Stars, the Theatron, the Olympic Village, the Olympic Hill and the quiet park oasis of Father Timofej, the oddball rebel from Oberwiesenfeld - all these locations are part of the tour. Note: E-bike tours do not take place in winter (mid-October to March) and in case of heavy rain and storm-like conditions the tour will be cancelled free of charge.
